Before I began CrossFit I was a fad dieter and ran an obnoxious amount of miles just to “stay active” and keep from gaining more weight. I was extremely unhealthy and my relationship with exercise and food was a bad one.

When I began CrossFit I quickly realized that not eating and fad dieting was not going to cut it if I wanted to excel and try my hand at CrossFit as a sport.
I dove into learning about nutrition, my body, and how to make my performance my top priority. Since I started CrossFit I have lost 6 sizes and over 35 lbs. I am a firm believer that balance is key and learning about your own body is life changing. What works for some people may not work for others, but I enjoy helping people find what does work for them. Now I pursue a healthy lifestyle for myself and find joy in being an example to others wanting to do the same.
In 2017 I founded Kokoro Sports Performance as a way to help athletes increase their sports performance and to also walk alongside individuals to become healthier versions of themselves. I am a Level 1 CrossFit coach, a CrossFit competitor, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and I have worked with the Arkansas Razorback football team as an intern for their Strength and Conditioning program.
My passion has grown the more I have become involved in the CrossFit community as well as collegiate athletics, which has inspired me to pursue my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I am passionate about people, nutrition, human performance, and improving athletes; motivating them to reach their full potential as an athlete and being there to help them with their overall fitness journey.
